Donna DeBerry is founder of Brand Inclusion, where she consults industry leaders on diversity and event management issues. She has been described as a trailblazer, pioneer and the “Diversity Go-To-Person” since her meteoric rise through the ranks of Wyndham International, where she formerly served as Executive Vice President of Wyndham International.
Her ascent to become the highest ranking African American in the United States in the hotel and hospitality industry is now legend. DeBerry’s success has been featured in some of America’s top rated print, electronic and broadcast media, including such magazines as Fortune, Time, Essence, Black Enterprise, and Diversity Inc.
DeBerry has served on numerous Board of Directors including the National Coalition of Black Meeting Planners, National Hispanic Corporate Council, Multicultural Foodservice and Hospitality Alliance, and the National Association of Black Hotel Owners, Operators and Developers.
As a diversity expert she has addressed thousands at major conferences and events including the Executive Women's Golf Association, the Wall Street Project, NAACP, International Hispanic Meeting Professional, a Diversity Inc. Webinar, Essence Women of Color, and other Diversity Best Practices with Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton.
Before joining Wyndham, she learned leadership skills and the spirit of winning from her work with the National Football League and the United States Olympic Committee. Donna DeBerry attended California State University – Hayward.
